September collective reading
For the month of September I pulled Ace of Swords (reversed). This card carries a message of new beginnings initiated by new ideas and inspirations.
When you feel a whim of intuitive guidance this month, we are encouraged to trust it. If we can cultivate a centered quality within, it becomes easier to speak something new and true into existence.
What does it feel like when you second guess yourself? What does it feel like when you take action on what feels true to you.
Get curious about the difference between how you experience worry, and how you experience intuition in your body. There may be some overlap, but the more you can begin to distinguish the difference, the easier it will become to trust your unique processing of information and integrating it into something that’s useful or revelatory in your life.
Use your words intentionally, what you speak has the capacity to become real.
reflection prompts:
If your words and thoughts are a part of creating your reality, the simple act of aligning your words with your values could be an opening to new and different outcomes.
How would you like to speak to yourself in the privacy of your own mind?
How would you like to speak of others?
How would you like to speak towards others?
How can you speak hard truths and still stay rooted in compassion and kindness?
What helps you feel centered in your life? (If you’re not sure, this could be a good time to get curious and try new things. Or, ask others what helps them. For me, I feel more centered when I slow down, spend time in nature, practice slow yoga, make art, journal, and stay hydrated). Can you commit to sprinkling in more of that this month in the name of expanding your awareness and connecting with your own intuition and truth?
You’re invited to slow down with me this month at The Language of Flowers: An Autumn Mini Retreat in Plant Connection + Flower Essence Making in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains at Seven Springs Retreats in Maryville, TN on Sunday, September 20th from 12-4pm.
