Hey there, i’m kat itz

I’m the gal behind Big Bright Circle! I am an herbalist and CranioSacral Therapy + energywork practitioner with a professional background in therapeutic massage, yoga + meditation. I offer soul-centered body work and vibrational herbal medicine to help you become more well acquainted with the essence of your being. When we lead from a place of curiosity, we begin to relate to ourselves and the world in a wholly distinct way, beautiful transformation becomes possible, we learn to regulate in new ways, and we feel more settled within ourselves.

In 13 years of working as a holistic health practitioner I’ve gained intensive experiential knowledge and a deep understanding of how wise and interconnected our body systems are. My communications with the subtle bodies of humans, plants, stones, and the natural world have opened me up to a deeper sense of connection to the expansive wonder and goodness that surrounds us all. When we learn to pay attention to the natural world with real presence, with our whole selves and all of our senses, we begin to remember and know who we are; that we are magic and that wonderful things are possible.

I am particularly interested in how the imprints of thoughts, energy, emotions, and experiences create dis-ease and imbalance within us. My current offerings are designed to use plant + stone medicine and energetic bodywork to integrate spiritual lessons and reprogram self-limiting energetic and emotional patterns in our bodies and subconscious minds so that you can access more freedom and circle in closer to your own center. 

 

HERBAL MEDICINE

It is my sincere honor to be in conscious relationship and communication with the natural world and share my passions with you. In medicine-making I draw from my own intuition and connection with the plants as well as my training in Western Herbalism and Intuitive Plant Medicine.  With admiration and respect for the harmony and wisdom of the natural world I am grateful to work within the humble tradition of herbal medicine.

The ingredients in these herbal formulas have a unique wisdom to share. Each little bottle is carefully crafted with the purest of intentions and carries powerful medicine meant to help you come closer to your most vibrant and authentic self.

 

ENERGYWORK + WELLNESS

I believe our bodies carry the weight of our stories, our joys and traumas alike, but we don’t have to carry the discomfort forever. If we learn to listen to ourselves with kind curiosity and let go of expectations, we can begin to know how to better care for ourselves. You can feel relaxed in your body, unencumbered in your mind, and inspired in your soul.

With an intuitive and grounded approach, I use soul-centered healing + wellness techniques that allow your body to rest, recover, and realign so that you can access more comfort and inner peace in your life.

I listen without judgment to your body’s subtle communications and respond with informed, gentle touch in order to release tension, re-pattern unhealthy coping mechanisms, and restore balance. Your body knows what to do from there!
