january collective tarot

Happy New Year, my friends! If you’re interested in reading about the overall themes for 2026 based on numerology and tarot, you can find 2026, The Year of The Magician here! Otherwise, onward to our regularly scheduled content!

This month I pulled 2 cards, the first, Page of Cups (reversed) and the second, The Sirens oracle card from the Healing Waters Oracle Deck by Rebecca Campbell. As always, I’ve set the intention that this message for the collective (anyone who comes across and circles into this reading) be clear, useful, and true.

The Page of Cups reversed arrives this month as a reminder to offer ourselves compassion and love, to let it flow through so that it can find a natural rhythm that supports us all.

As we learn to show ourselves more compassion and kindness over time, we are training our brains to be able to receive it, not only from ourselves, but from those around us. And, as we learn to be in a reciprocal relationship with kindness, we learn to extend it towards others more freely, to take things less personally, to give others the benefit of the down, and as my sister-in-law always says, to “presume positivity”.

If you ask me, it’s just too exhausting to get offended by others’ projections. Remember, it’s usually not about you personally, it’s about them and what they’re carrying as an individual.

It’s a cycle and tide like the ocean, what we put out, we get it back. But part of this is training our minds to see what we want to see. What we think we deserve shows up because we allow ourselves to see it, and receive it, and know that we are worthy of receiving it. When we are in this headspace, it becomes easier to shake off what isn’t supportive and not meant for us to hold onto.

What if you could just let things be kind? What if you could just settle into compassion as your new baseline. Expect synchronicities, expect compassion, expect love, then stand at the edge of the ocean and smile at the tide of sweetness as it rises to kiss or tickle your feet!

The oracle card The Sirens asks you to study your own energy and states of being in the name of expansion and freedom.

Your body is designed to be a channel. As experiences, thoughts, energy, etcetera flow through you, use discernment to decide what to release and what to integrate.

Not everything that flows through you is meant for you to hold onto, you get to choose what lives in your inner world.

Be fluid and flowing, find your rhythm like the tides.

You might take some time to observe glimmers and reflections of light on water… sometimes dancing, sometimes still, simply moving with what IS.

Let yourself flow, let yourself be you. As you learn how to know what’s for you to hold and what’s not for you to hold, you will know yourself more intimately and you will see life open up for you.

This month is a time of expansion if you’ll let it be. Become a student of your own energyflow.

Some highlights from the guidebook’s interpretation of the card:

“The Sirens are free and empowered, unafraid to use their own voice and natural gifts to attract what they want…

Surrender to the most expanded version of who you are…

Recognize your own song and dance with it unrestrained…

Everyday is an opportunity to live more alive and more free…

What do you need to do to embrace life fully?

How can you step into your most expansive self?

If we fail to address past hurts and longings and losses, the memories can stagnate within us and it becomes harder for us to dance our dance and sing our song. But every moment is an opportunity to change and grow and thrive, every oment an opportunity to express yourself and find your unique rhythm

How are you being called to share your voice and expand into your most empowered alive self?”
