November collective reading

This month I pulled two cards, the first card is what we needs less of, the second card is what we need more of.

Less Strength reversed and more 4 of Swords:

The Strength card reversed asks us to quit hiding from ourselves.

Have you been delaying taking good care of yourself, perhaps because other things seem more important or less emotionally demanding?

Maybe using some less than optimal coping strategies to calm your nervous system?

Has the negative speak inside your head gotten a bit out of hand? Are you noticing less compassion towards yourself than usual?

What are you feeling uncomfortable about facing? We often find ourselves avoiding or distracting ourselves when a protective part of us feels unsafe or afraid.

But the Strength card reversed is here to remind us that facing what we’ve been running from has the potential to give us a lot of peace.

The 4 of Swords invites us to explore the antidote…

Give yourself permission to slow down and relax. Allow yourself space to be still and recover from whatever you’ve been moving through.

Sometimes we’re moving so fast or so hyperfocused on external tasks, responsibilities, or work that we become distracted from what’s going on in our internal world.

Rest and integration are an unequivocally necessary part of recovery, healing, growth, and expansion.

You can’t move forward without pausing to recharge.

As you slow down and rest, you are invited to become more aware of what may have been pushed aside, but currently needs gentle tending to.

They say “where your attention goes, energy flows”... this can be an empowering statement and an invitation to reclaim and redirect your energy.

Invitations for reflection:

Start paying attention to the way you speak to yourself, the phrases you find yourself saying silently and aloud as you move through your day. What aligns with the internal state you’d like to cultivate? What would you like to move away from?

What are phrases that those around you are speaking? Are there phrases you’d like to adopt and integrate? Phrases you want to make sure don’t become yours?

What types of phrases, affirmations, words, imagery, colors, volumes, temperatures, sensations can you start sprinkling into your mind?

Looking for support with this?

Clinical Hypnosis allows us to work more directly with the subconscious patterns that influence how you think, feel, and respond. Through guided imagery, suggestion, and other hypnotic techniques, we can explore deeply rooted beliefs, emotional patterns, and automatic responses that may be difficult to shift through conscious effort alone.

If this sounds interesting to you, you’re invited to fill out an intake form and set up a free 30 minute consultation call.

It is my honor to be your guide.
