march collective tarot

The month’s card is Six of Swords, a tender card of conviction, of movement in a new direction, and passage. A metaphorical portal may arrive as an invitation to choose a new direction. And, what if, with no hesitation, you walked through and found yourself on the other side as a more peaceful you and in a more supportive environment? This is possible for you…

As we move through these early months of the calendar year and settle more fully into the rhythm of the lunar and astrological new year, many of us are holding important visions or plans. Hopes and dreams are asking to be lived into and this card reminds us that meaningful change rarely happens all at once, but one foot after the other, making the choice that aligns with your desires over and over again until you arrive somewhere new and more supportive.

The Six of Swords speaks strongly of boundaries. If you want to elevate your life, something else will need to be released. Saying “yes” to what matters means saying “no” to what pulls you off course.

What you are building is for the future. When your vision is clear, your boundaries become steady, and they require less effort because they are rooted in deep knowing. Sounds nice, right?

For many sensitive and deeply feeling people, boundaries can tug at the heartstrings. Walking away can feel tender, even when it is right. There may be something you are leaving behind that is genuinely hard to release, maybe a pattern, a person, a place, a pull, whatever it is, is there a familiar cycle that keeps drawing you back?

This card asks you to be honest about your priorities so that you can truly align with them. What matters most to you, and why? What kind of environment and circumstances support your focus, your growth, your becoming? Some things we can’t control, but some things we can…

Remember that you cannot move forward while being pulled in multiple directions. If you’ve been quieting your inner knowing or making excuses for whatever reason, this is a call to perhaps take a good look at why and maybe make a new choice.

This may be a time to walk away once and for all, to step out of that loop, and begin a new spiral of growth. Devotion to who you are becoming requires clarity, choice, and inner steadiness.

On the other hand, if you have recently changed course, this comes as card confirmation that you made the right decision. Well done, brave one! Do not look back with regret, tenderly honor any grief that may arise, and stay with your momentum.

Trust what you know.
Keep walking toward the future that is waiting for you.

Reflection
What are you being asked to leave behind so you can move forward with clarity?
What boundary would make your path feel more steady and supported right now?
